Terrace Waterproofing
Our solution is a highly durable acrylic-based cementitious system that has high resistance to the effect of long-term weathering, with high sustainability in all climate conditions, including UV attacks.
The economical way to protect it from ingress of rainwater, polymer and cement is mixed together to achieve paintable slurry which seals the porosity of the surface and acts as a waterproof barrier. Two to three coats are applied with brush on leaky surfaces which act as a waterproof paint.
Elastomeric Cementitious waterproof slurry is another improved system for underlayment treatment for treating leaky concrete surfaces. It is then covered by layer of mortar to protect it by wear & tear.
Acrylic based flexible single component terrace waterproof coatings are also available from various manufacturers. These coatings although more expensive have a better life span of about 3-4 years depending on the condition of the building structure.
Seepage and leakages in ceilings below terrace floor
Seepage can be caused by improper slopes, clogged drainage pipes, cracks and damages on the terrace slab, resulting in standing water on the roof which leads to seepage and leakage on the floor below
Dampness and seepage from sun roofs and parapet walls
Perpendicular joints in sun roofs and parapet walls are prone to cracks because of differential expansion and contract due to weather changes and general vibrations that affect a building. These can cause cracks which allow water to seep through and reach the interior ceilings and walls causing dampness.
Seepage in the terrace slab
Leakage and seepage can be caused by improper slopes, clogged drainage pipes, cracks and damages on the terrace slab, resulting in standing water on the roof which leads to seepage and leakage on the floor below.
